In 2009, I earned my title as a Certified Personal Trainer, launching my career in the fitness industry. I started designing and implementing personalized fitness programs, helping clients achieve their goals, improve their abilities, and enhance their experiences. I found my calling and knew I was on the right path.
In 2014, I expanded my credentials by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. While working in a corporate gym, I also ran strength and conditioning programs at boxing and mixed martial arts gyms. It was then that I discovered my true passion for athletic training.
My journey continued in 2016 when I earned the title of Fitness Nutrition Specialist. This certification allowed me to design more in-depth nutrition programs tailored to my clients' specific needs. By understanding how to manipulate calorie intake, macronutrients, and micronutrients, I was able to guide my clients toward both immediate and long-term results.
In 2018, I became a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. This added another dimension to my expertise, as I learned how muscular imbalances contribute to pain, postural deviations, and faulty movement patterns. I gained the skills to assess, address, and correct these imbalances, integrating corrective exercises into my clients' fitness programs. This knowledge opened the door to the world of injury rehab and injury prevention, or "prehab." I quickly realized how improving proper muscular balance and movement patterns could enhance not only athletic performance but also everyday activities.
In 2020, I founded FAS Training, opening a private training studio in Old Town Lafayette, Colorado. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the privilege of connecting with amazing people in the community and helping them on their fitness journeys.
In 2021, I achieved the title of Certified Powerlifting Instructor, which deepened my understanding of strength training, focusing on sport-specific techniques. Combining this new knowledge with my background in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and corrective exercise led to incredible results for my clients.
In 2022, I became a Certified IASTM Practitioner, specializing in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. With this skill, I use specialized tools to increase blood flow, relieve muscle tightness, and accelerate recovery during my clients' training phases.
By 2023, I transitioned to coaching out of my home in Lafayette, Colorado, creating a dedicated, clean, and private space where I can focus on one-on-one sessions. This allows for a completely personalized experience, free from the distractions of commercial gyms and fitness studios.
I am passionate about helping individuals achieve proper, pain-free movement. Whether you're recovering from an injury or aiming to improve your athletic performance, my goal is to help you regain mobility, stability, and strength so you can live and perform at your absolute best.
