At FAS Training we do things a little differently, our mission is to put the "personal" back into "personal training". We take the time to get to know you, your strengths, weaknesses, likes, and dislikes. We get to know what your history with fitness is like, your goals, motivations, and frustrations. We get to know your communication and learning styles. We are here for you, as trainers, teammates, and friends. We believe this is the key to becoming the most effective and efficient personal trainers, and coaches we can be. 

 

From there we proceed with  comprehensive injury screenings, and movement assessments. Your body will create protective tensions, and can develop compensatory movement patterns, or habits after experiencing trauma such as an injury. These protective tensions can affect your functional movement patterns and/or posture for decades. Compromising your overall performance and potentially putting you at risk of injury. FAS Training specializes in ASSESSING, ADDRESSING, and CORRECTING muscular imbalances, faulty movement patterns, and postural deviations. That should be the foundation of every fitness program, no matter what the overall goal is.

Once we understand what motivates you, and what frustrates you. Which communication style is most effective for you. Which learning style is most effective for you. How your body moves, why, and what we need to correct to improve your movement patterns. We design a truly personalized training program ensuring you meet and surpass your fitness goals safely, efficiently, and most importantly you enjoy the experience. Each training session begins with a comprehensive warm up consisting of mobility exercises, muscle activation, and movements specific to that session's prescribed exercises. Next your trainer will guide you through the planned workout providing detailed instructions and demonstrating each exercise. Your trainer will observe every movement, coaching, cueing, and making any modifications needed to ensure you receive a safe, effective workout each and every time. We prioritize keeping you motivated and informed of the "why" behind every aspect of your training session. We want you to understand how the prescribed exercises, intensity, and volume of work performed pertains to your specific training program - boosting your confidence in program design, ensuring a lifetime of results.

German Volume Training -  A tried and true, disgustingly high volume hypertrophy program. This version is an 8 week, 4 day split with two days on, one day off, two days on, and 2 days off. So, ideally Mon-Tue on, Wed rest, Thurs-Fri on, Sat-Sun rest; but you can adjust according to your schedule.

 

8 Week Golf Conditioning - This 8-week program is designed to help golfers of all skill levels improve their strength, stability, power, and flexibility. The program is divided into two phases. Phase 1 focuses on mobility, stability, and functional strength. Phase 2 focuses on strength and power development, rotational strength and power, and athletic conditioning. This program consists of three workouts per week, each with a focus on different muscle groups and movements.

Total Body Strength/Hypertrophy, Bodyweight Program - This 4-week program focuses on 3 full-body workouts per week. It is designed for a person with little training experience and features exclusively exercises that don't require any equipment or only require things that can be commonly found around the house.

10 Week, Couch to 5K, Running Program- This running program is ideal for non-runners who are looking to gradually build their running capacity to the point of completing 5km without stopping.

12 Week Half Marathon Running Program -This is a 12-week program for intermediate level runners who want to increase their half marathon performance. The main focus is on speed improvements rather than building endurance. The program is designed to finish in week 12 with a half marathon race/event.
